We are pleased to inform you that Itasca ISD will be implementing Provision 2 (P2) under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for School Year 2024/2025. Under P2, all students receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.

REMINDER: Senior Sunrise: Seniors, join us at the Itasca Train Depot across from the football field at 6:30 am on 8/12/24 to watch the sunrise on your senior year. Senior parents are welcome to join in and commemorate this special occasion.

Parents of students who have allergies (not seasonal), use an inhaler, have seizures, or who will be taking daily medication while at school, please stop by the nurses table at the back to school fair tomorrow to pick up the required paperwork that is needed for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are unable to attend the back to school fair, please email the nurse at srea@itascaisd.net so the form(s) can either be emailed or sent home in your child's backpack.

Itasca High School is looking for great staff members. One who wants to teach math and another for health science. If you fit that description and want to positively impact students please go to our district employment page and apply.

Announcement for those of you who are scheduled to have their children's immunizations administered today. They were originally going to be held on the elementary campus, but due to the front parking being blocked off, they will now be held in the cafeteria. The bus gate by the cafeteria will be open for parking. We look forward to seeing you at 10!

For those who signed up for their children to receive immunizations from the Health Department on August 8, they will begin administering them at 10a.m. at the Elementary campus. Please try to arrive as close to 10a.m. as possible. If you signed up, and will be unable to attend, please reach out to Nurse Rea at (254) 687-2922 ext. 148 or srea@itascaisd.net.

A detailed letter will soon be arriving from the campus principal regarding your student's STAAR scores; however, you may follow the steps below to review your student's assessment results at this time. Reminder: For those of you in high school needing another chance to rock the STAAR test, our summer retest dates are as follows. 6/18/24 English 1 & 2 , 6/20/24 Algebra 1, 6/24/24 Biology. Please bring your Chromebooks fully charged and ready to test. Testing begins at 8 am each morning.
